I Wish To Have More
A lot of my friend told me that accounting life is good, as they are paid well, but I don't really think so because the amount of time we put inside the work and if we divide out by the number of hours, it is not worthwhile the time to do it. Its not that I am a practical person, is just that sometimes I find that I put in so much time at my daily work, who I am helping to get rich? It is my boss, not me. I am helping them to mind their business, instead of I minding my own business. Thanks God, I have read this book, Rich Dad, Poor Dad, by Robert T Kiyosaki, that made me realise what I have been doing all these years.
I don't mean that having a job is not good, but I feel that it is not as secure as we think it is. We will never know when our bosses will need our services if the economy don't do well. I encountered that before when I was working in the bank, I saw people who are in the middle age, got retrenched...and some find quite hard to look for another job...this is the harsh fact of the society. I don't want to be like them in the future..
That is why I wanted to get myself a backup plan, which can allow me to earn extra or the passive income not just replying on my current work. That why I went to GIS in December to see what are the alternative I can have to get multiple sources of income, instead of just relying on my earned income. And thanks, I found one that it suit my lifestyle, that is Twalk Program...which is automated cash machine.allow me to generate my passive income...I started to learn how to use the program. It's so cool.. Thanks to Shaun Stenning..i remember his word..life will never be the same again..I am looking forward to that.

My Slice of Life : Be Accountable
When we are dealing with stressful situation, it's easy to tell ourselves, that its not our fault these things are happening to us. It is easy to complain how tough life is and retreat into our shells, shutting the world.
But if we are not willing to accept responsibility for situation we find ourselves in, then we are playing the victim.
When you play out to be "victim", life happens to you.You feel that you have no control over your circumstances. You blame people, events, bad luck perhaps, for everything that seems to go wrong. And things don't get better, you start to imagine life somehow has all its odd stacked against you. The feeling is helplessness.
But this state is by no means accidental or coincidental. You are feeling this way by choice.
Think about an area of your life where you feel things aren't going the way you have hoped. Now ask yourself this. What action can I take now that puts control in my hands? One thing you can immediately to do is recognize that while certain unpleasant or frustrating things happen in life, you always have the ability to take matters into your own hands and create better circumstances.
Immediately you will feel the frustration and stress ease, because you will realise that things do not have to stay the way they are. You can make changes and you can control the situation. You may not able to solve the problem immediately but there are step you can take to alleviate the pain, the stress, the suffering or whatever that slapping you around. With every small action, you come closer to making big changes to your situation.
We all fall victim behaviour from time to time. And sometimes, we stay stuck there longer than we would like to admit. When you recognize that you are in victim behaviour, ask yourself What can i do to change this situation and make it better? Then take action and take control.
Sometimes I wish to have more like have more increment, more bonus...can go on a long list of my wishing list. That why I admit that I sometime fall into victim trap especially at work. Yes it is true that it is easier to blame others at times, but it not good for us either..Have to shut up the little voice in us..Here are some little tricks that I learnt during the NAC in Singapore from a speaker, when you hear a little voice, put it on our palm and slap it and say out loud "Shut Up". It works for me...Have a nice weekend ahead.

Stories: Fearing the Wind
When the king of that land heard about the elephant, he wanted it for himself. He sent his elephant trainers out to find her. They caught her in a huge net, drove her back to the palace grounds, and chained her to a stake.
When the elephant didn't do what the trainers told her to do, they jabbed her with their training sticks. Soon, red, blue, and purple bruises broke out all over her beautiful white skin, and she was constantly terrified.
One day the elephant went crazy with fear. She reared up on her hind legs and her chain broke loose. She ran up into the mountains, so far and deep that the trainers couldn't find her. They searched and searched for a long time, but at last they gave up. Eventually they forgot about her.
But the elephant did not forget about them. Every time the wind moaned, whined, shrieked or blasted, she dashed off in terror, racing around in big, loopy circles, thrashing her trunk wildly from side to side.
Even though she was free, she might just as well have been recaptured by the king's trainers, for now her mind was often so troubled she forgot to eat. Her big, strong body became thin and weak. Running in heedless fear, she would frequently trip and collapse over rocks, fallen branches, or holes in the ground.
The only thing close to peace the elephant ever felt was when she'd lean against one special tree to catch her breath. This tree had a smooth, thick trunk and a big, sheltering crown of leaves where the wind would gently whisper.
The tree could sense the fear that was tormenting the elephant and felt great compassion for her. One day, it whispered these words:
"Do you fear the wind?
It only moves the clouds and dries the dew!
Look inside your mind?
There, fear alone has captured you."
As soon as the tree finished whispering these words, the beautiful elephant smiled. Suddenly she realized that she had nothing to worry about but her own habit of always being afraid. From that day on she was at peace with herself.
Sometimes when we meet something bad or got phobia of something, the kind of image that we have is imprinted in our mind, sometimes is the imagination that give us the kind of fear or what we called the anticipated fear. Shaun has shared with us in the training at Phuket that Fear actually stand for False Evidence Appearing Real..I admit it is true something for me..being fear of something actually not happening at all..actually I got phobias of cat, but I didn't have cat bitten me when I was young, just being chased by them before..but I still got the fear when I see them. Even my mum laughed at me that I am so big sized than the cat, still fear of them, which she don't understand.Sometimes I wish to have more courage to face the cat. Haha

Mr Children
I found this movie clip, quite inspiring...even though I don't understand what the singer is actually singing.
It shows about the story of the four old Japanese men realized their dream i,e forming this own band. Age is not an issue when it comes to achieving our dream, is just a matter is it something that we really want it and how much you want to get it accomplished.

Winners Vs Losers
Barbara Pletcher
Author
Today I come across this quote, quite meaningful. I think this is the attitude of the real winners in life, always of thinking of ways how to get it or make it better. This makes me think of when people are playing cards, they will blame their luck on having such bad cards on hands, without thinking of strategy to win the game and they choose to give up. This is what I called losers. Losers always find excuses to avoid responsibility or give reason to justify themselves or blame others, hence they will never progress in their lives. I feel that in life is also the same, sometime we blame our parents not being rich, not from the well-to-do families or others, instead of looking forward what we can do to make our situation better. That is the spirit of the winners. So are you a winner or loser?

Rock Balboa's Inspirational Speech to His Son
I like this part of the movie..it make me reflected when he say this to his son.,"You gotta be willing to take the hits and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna to be because of him or her or anybody cowards do that and that ain't you.
I believe in today's society we find it easy to blame other people rather than taking the responsiblity. But because of that, life happens to us instead of we make things happen. Successful people take responsibility for there own actions and not pointing fingers at him or her or anybody. Let us be accountable for our own action for now.

It's My Pay Day
But my happiness is just for a short period because the pay day can also be my bill day because got a lot of bills waiting for me to clear...How I wish the bills are turning into cash...(Fat Hope, stop dreaming)*Laugh*
This remind me of my friend tell me of this phrase, 月宽主,hope I type the chinese character correctly. This means that at the beginning we receive our pay check, the money will diminished at the end of the money and restart all over again. Like cash in, cash out.
That why I really find hard to save..I don't know whether you are having the same states as me...always save a little for myself after deducting the loan and monthly bills. Sometimes I wish to have more...

but cannot expect boss to give me increment every now and then...Like what Einstein said about the definition of insanity...is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results? I sometimes admitted that I complained that my salary is not enough and I can't expect to have more if everyday I are doing the same old job, I can't expect to have more money come to me rite..Luckily got to understand this quote and start to change my thinking..If you are unhappy with your situation, don't just sit there and do nothing but complaining, we have to think of ways how to achieve the things you want..sometime you discover more things along the way...you never expect...

My Slice of Life: Energising Power of Dream
Remember your very first job? That all grown up feeling. Your own money to buy things. The independence.... :=)
Do you still have the excitement today? Do you jump out of bed, eager to start a new day? Or you feel tired, even slightly depressed?
Perhaps you have lost touch with your own special dreams over the years? What is it? Have you thought about your dream lately? Acknowledging it can free you up to remove obstacles.
What's keeping you from your dreams? What would it be? If you want it so badly you could taste it, how could you make it happen?
What could you negotiate for yourself today to pull your dream a litter bit closer? How about making a small deal with yourself? For example, if I devote to write half an hour every night to write, I'll will be able to finish a book in six months.
There is no easy street. Achievers make things happen. The road will be tough, but the rewards will surely be sweet. Be able to say that you've worked to make your dream come true.
Instead of working more hours away from home to make extra money, could you invest in planning and saving for your dream? Do your current activities more your closer to doing what you love to do? Eliminate energy wasters - things that don't move you forward.
And think what kind of spending you can give up if it means finally living your dream. Can you funnel some of your purchases back into your dream? Are you making investment or throwing away money for superficial gains. Trade your current spending for your dream. You will be wonderfully surprised at how much money you will find to make a dream a reality.
My own self thoughts:
Have the kind of lost feeling because I was at a loss in my career, because I have been working hard but I don't get to enjoy the things that I am doing at work. I am actually an account executive by profession, working for other people. In the past, I thought this is the only path that we can go that is study hard, get a good job, then life will be easy...but in reality it is not true. I don't mean to say that job is not good. But doing something that do not fulfill what you really like and enjoy, will kill our souls.
There is why I start to take accountability of my life in search of ways to achieving my dream. You know one of my dream is to traveling around the world, because one of my value is freedom. I don't like the idea of travelling but subject to approval. Because in January, I applied for my leave to Malacca, my boss nearly rejected my leave because he told me it was a peak period, I should not plan my holiday during that time. I was upset but luckily I got my reason to back up for my leave.
Thus, this incident motivates me to think of ways to achieve my passive income and more time flexibility...oh..don't let my boss know..He will be upset if he know this...

Stories: My Four Wives
I came across this article about this four wives...I find it quite meaning...
Once upon a time, there was a king who had four wives. He loved the 4th wife the most and treated her to the finest things in life.
He also loved the 3rd wife very much and was always showing her off to neighbouring kingdoms.
He also loved his 2nd wife. She was his confidante and was always kind, considerate and patient with him.
The King's 1st wife was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and kingdom. However, he did not love the 1st wife and although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her.
One day, the King fell ill and he knew his remaining time was short. He asked the 4th wife, "I have loved you the most and endowed you with the best. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?"
"No way!" replied the 4th wife and she walked away without another word.
The sad King then asked the 3rd wife, "I have loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?"
"No!" replied the 3rd wife. "Life is too good! When you die, I'm going to remarry!"
He then asked the 2nd wife, "You've always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?"
"I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!" replied the 2nd wife. "At the very most, I can only send you to your grave."
Then a voice called out: "I'll follow you no matter where you go." The King looked up and there was his first wife. She was so skinny, she was suffering from malnutrition. Greatly grieved, the King said, "I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!"
We all have four wives in our lives - our 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish on it, it'll leave us when we die. Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, it will all go to others. Our 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for us, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave. And our 1st wife is our Soul, often neglected in our pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the flesh. However, our Soul is the only thing that will follow us wherever we go.
So cultivate, strengthen and cherish your soul. It's our only eternal companion.
I agreed with the author, sometimes we are chasing too much material possession in our life, like i wish to have more like big house, nice car or beautiful wife, but when we get all these, are we really achieve the kind of happiness? For some maybe, but for me, I think is more of my value whether they are fulfilled. I understand for my mentor, Shaun Stenning shared with us on the stage that when he got those big house or cars that he wants, he still can't achieve the kind of satisfaction that he want, still lack of something in his life which is the spiritual satisfaction. There is why he stepped out to give more to the society by helping others to achieve the kind of lifestyle or passive income they want through internet marketing channel. There is why we can see a lot of successful people, like Bill Gates, even they have achieved their personal goals in life, he still contribute back to the society to have the self-actualization fulfillment.

Brain Tracy: You Are What You Think
Awesome, this video came just in time for me..Because I was still thinking of what truly matters to me..now I realised that why those successful people are successful is because they are thinking what they want and how to get them most of their time. Brain Tracy mentioned in the video is You become what you think most of the time. If you think of too much crappy stuff, you become a crap..crack a joke here. * Laugh*. I believe it is true for me. because some time I was thinking of the things that I don't want, that why it attracted to me...I finally got the answer...I am happy today..*Smile*

I Love Little Bali !

Last sunday, I went to this Little Bali together with my friends to celebrate one of our friend's birthday cum gathering session. The Little Bali is located at (A Lock Road, Guilman Village. You all should try to go there to experience it..Thanks to my friend, Lidan for organizing this dinner at this place.
Wow, this is my first time at Little Bali. I don't now that Singapore got such a nice place. The ambience is so special as the owners have put in effort to make the place so cosy and relaxed as if we are in the resort and nearer to the nature. You can view more pictures at their website @ http://www.littlebali.com. I am someone who like nature very much and can get to receive negative ions..*haha*
For me, I also did enjoy the foods cos they served different varieties of food as they got Indian, Bali, Indonesian food. But just that the prices are quite expensive because we have to take into account of the ambience...so I think is worth it to go there and for guys, maybe can bring your girlfriend there, she might like it..
Really like to have the kind of feeling of going to such the restaurants without having to see the right hand side of the menu (*that is the price list*), because we have to choose the one that suit our budget instead of picking the one that we really like and eat as we like without to worry about the cost. So I must work hard to obtain my passive income through Twalk program so that I can bring my parents here to enjoy the ambience plus the food here.

Pursuit of Happiness: You Want Something. Go Get It
This is the movie that I watched long time ago, can't remember what the date. But this is a part which I like when the Dad talked this to his son. He said "Don't let anybody tell you what to do, you want something, go and get it.
Do you still remember when we are babies, when we were hungry, we would just cry out loud to get attention from our parents so that we were able to get our food we want. But I realized for myself, I used to think a lot in the past, whether I can do this or do that, maybe because of the fear of failure.. Haha...

Hurray, Boss is Not around...
I went surfing net to research on my dream board. It's time for me to redo my dream board. I have did it one year plus ago.
My first goal is to make the money from Twalk Program and go to Hong Kong for Holiday. Even though I went there before in 2001. But I still went to go there but this time the money to spend is from my passive income from my twalk program. I budget about 10,000 include the air ticket, accomodation, transportation, not forgetting shopping and eat...these two are my favorite activities. I planned to go there for one month..which is in July 2010..Wow..I realised got things to plan..especially which area to go first. Maybe can my friend to show me around.. :=)
For those, who want to go Hong Kong, can visit the website http://discoverhongkong.com.
I loves google. It is my best friend, whenever i want to add to my "I wish to have more" wishing list, I just google it, and also find my pictures just typing the word into the search box and the information is right in front of you.
Welcome to Hong Kong!!!!

Justin Bieber On Oprah Show
Frankly speaking, I am not a true fan of Justin Bieber that will scream for him, I know a lot of young girls are screaming loud for this young chap. But I like one of his song "Baby".
This cute little chap caught my attention because he had created a lot of miracles which most of us thought it will be impossible at such a young age. I was thinking what am I doing when I was at his age.
He appeared on Oprah Show recently on 11 May 2010. Do you know how he becomes famous? We must thank his mother for posting his singing videos on YouTude that lead to his discovery...Watch this interview video and see so many young girls screaming for him. Wow, this guy is cool and awesome.
I feel that when we are young, we dare to do a lot of things, but as we grew up and learn more things as we age, we adult sometimes think too much or lack of the courage to step out to do the things we want...this is just a thought of mine...what are your thoughts?
After watching this, do you like Justin Bieber? Share your comments or can vote on my poll on Justin Bieber. Have a awesome week ahead. *Cheers*

My Slice of Life: What Truly Matters in Life
In the web of train rails we call Life, we board cabin that take us on various tracks towards different stations and interchanges. These cabin can take a form of a career, a commitment to a goal, a relationship, a marriage or a child....any major event that change you or take you to a different place in your life.
When this trains take on frantic pace (as they often can), and the world outside the window become a dizzying blur, we can get distracted and forget what truly makes life meaning or enriching.
For instance, it doesn't matter what you do for a living. What truly matters is whether you know what you have a passion for doing, and if you have a courage to pursue it.
It also doesn't matter how old you are. Whats matter is whether you will risk appearing the fool for love, or in the pursuit of knowledge or a dream.
It doesn't matter how emotional hurt you've suffered. What matters is whether you have learnt to let the sorrow open your heart and mind, or if you've become anxious or bitter. In life, emotional pain is unavoidable, but it is but no means unconquerable. Will you allow it to build walls around your heart, or you remain open to your future happiness.
If doesn't matter if you say and do what you should or ought to do. What matters if you can touch the nucleus of your emotion states in stillness be it joy or pain and let it enlighten your soul. Whether you can allow simple joys to permeate every fibre of your being and make your life worthwhile, even though the toughest time.
It doesn't matter how highly educated you are, what make of car you drive, where you live, how much money you have, and how high ranking your position. What matters is what sustains you from the inside when all else fades away. Whether you can truly be who you are, and feel the existence of a higher consciousness in the quiet moments of self communion.
It doesn't matter if you can understand and accept the ugly realities of life. What matters is if you have the courage to see beauty in life even when it is not pretty everyday; whether you can both savour the tingling warmth of noonday sun on your skin and the exquisite chill of the early morning.
As we speed along in the trains on the railway of life, let us not forget what truly matter make this Life special and worth living.
Like most people, I wish to have more time to accomplish more things. But we sometimes too busy with our daily stuffs, that we forgot to stop for a moment to ask ourselves is there something amiss in our life..what is the end journey we want to be. Perhaps It's time for me to do some searching for what truly matters to me...how about you?

To All of You Who Feel Like Giving Up
*
I was amazed with Nick Vujicic's positiveness and his energy. Because if we are in his shoes, what we will do? I think I will not be able to go on like this if I am in his shoes.
His story touched my heart and he really inspires me and remind me not to easily get give up if we meet up with obstacles. Sometimes, I reflected that sometimes with the obstacles and challenges in life, it makes us stronger and our life more exciting, so we are able to achieve more in life. Nothing is easy, but who wants nothing....
I wish to have more determination and persistence in achieving my goals.
Remember Nick Vujicic when you feel like giving up...
